PAUL OSTBY
Paul is an NHLPA Certified Agent and co-owner of Ice Hockey Agency, representing elite players at all career stages. Following his esteemed playing and coaching careers, Paul transitioned into player representation, where he has spent decades providing strategic and forward-looking advisory services to players across every level of the game. His deep understanding of the game and long-held relationships in the sport have made him an asset to rising and established players.
A University of Minnesota graduate in Business, Paul was MVP of the Gophers men’s hockey team, a USA National Team member, and a National Sports Festival selection. His career includes roles as a Washington Capitals scout, assistant coach at the University of Minnesota for eight years, assistant coach of the USHL’s St. Paul Vulcans, and a three-time Minnesota State High School Champion coach at Apple Valley and Benilde–St. Margaret’s. A Hall of Fame athlete at Elk River High School, Paul also served as Director of Development for the Herb Brooks Foundation and as a strategic partnership advisor at Paladin Capital. He resides in St. Paul, Minnesota.
NEIL SHEEHY
Neil is a NHLPA Certified Agent and co-owner of ICE Hockey Agency representing elite players at the highest levels of the game. He delivers strategic contract negotiation, career management, and long-term advisory services with a relentless commitment to excellence and discretion. Trusted for his preparation, industry relationships, and player-first approach, Neil provides individualized guidance that maximizes opportunity on and off the ice. His focus is simple: protect his clients’ interests, elevate their careers, and position them for sustained success.
A graduate of Andover Prep and Harvard University (Economics), Neil was a four-year defenseman at Harvard and a member of the USA National Team. He played nine seasons in the NHL with the Calgary Flames, Hartford Whalers, and Washington Capitals, followed by three years of professional hockey in Europe. Neil is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law and a licensed neuromuscular therapist. An International Falls High School Hall of Fame inductee, he and his wife Julie reside in Edina, Minnesota.
DANNY KRISTO
Danny joined ICE Hockey Agency in 2024 after an accomplished 12-year professional career, including five seasons in the U.S. and seven in Europe. His path took him from the U.S. National Team Development Program to the University of North Dakota, where he was named an All-American, before turning pro. A second-round draft pick of the Montreal Canadiens, Danny is also a gold medalist at the 2010 World Junior Championship, along with two additional bronze medals representing Team USA. Now based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, he draws on his experience at every level of the game to guide our players on their journey from high school to the NHL.
JOSH PETRICH
Josh is a NHLPA certified agent that joined ICE Hockey Agency in 2022 and has focused on recruiting and helping players with professional ambitions. Before joining ICE, Josh spent over a decade on the coaching side of the game, working in the USHL and NAHL.
Currently residing in Cambridge, MN, with his wife Desiree, and two children, Landon and Louise, Josh brings an extensive network of amateur and professional contacts to help our clients through each step of the process.
